La Vieille Cheminée is located in Chamarel – a small circular range of mountain peaks that dominate the southern and western coastlines of Mauritius. Charming fully equipped cottages, horse-back riding and guided hikes will all enable you to admire the flora of the Mauritian countryside in its entire splendor. Chamarel is a peaceful region surrounded by the most beautiful mountains of Mauritius. The area however remains easily accessible and is only a short 15 minute drive from the developed west coast.
