We organize guided visits of the farm.
La Vieille Cheminée has agriculture in its DNA.
The land where the property is located was already harvesting tea and sugar cane back in the 19th century.
The Old Chimney is a beautiful remnant of the sugar estate.
We have since abandoned intensive agriculture and refocused on more traditional & sustainable techniques.
We also produce our own Compost, Wood Chips and Potting Soil and the surplus is sold in local gardening shops.
While exploring the farm, you can discover small plantations of Palm Trees, Bananas, Pineapples, Citrus and Avocados.
You can also visit our organic vegetable garden which supplies our kitchen with fresh produce for preparing local dishes for our guests.
You can participate in our daily farming activities or you can book a walking guided tour to discover and taste the products of our Tropical Farm.
